Ted Newlin

Ted Newlin has been photographing professionally since 1989. Before he began a career in portrait photography, his first love was with scenic and nature photography, but now he enjoys the satisfaction of working with people to create images that his clients treasure.
In 1994, Ted was awarded the Certified Professional Photographer. In 2004, the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) awarded Ted the “Photographic Craftsman” degree in recognition of his service to the photographic profession as an orator, author and mentor.
The Indian Nations Professional Photographers Association (INPPA) named Ted "Photographer of the Year" in 1995 and 2001. He received the First place trophy for Best Wedding Album in the State of Oklahoma three years in a row. Twice he was awarded the Fuji Masterpiece Award for Photographic Excellence. Other awards range from distinguished ribbons to National Merit Print awards for his photographic work.
Ted is a Past President of INPPA and the Professional Photographers of Oklahoma (PPO). He has received the Fellowship degree from the PPO for service.
Ted has instructed other professionals at the Oklahoma School of Professional Photography and has taught national “Super Monday” events for PPA. In addition, Ted has taught photography on the High School, Career Tech and University levels.
Beliving in the value of education at affiliate schools, Ted has received training at numerous professional photography schools in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, California, Washington, Nevada, Mississippi and Maine.
