Landscape Workshops

Yellowstone in the Spring is set for May 24 through 28, 2009

Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons Workshop
Led by
Randy Taylor, CPP, M. Photog. Cr., F-PPO and
Dr. Glenn M. Cope, CPP. Photog. Cr., API, F-PPO

This year we are planning on another tremendous workshop in the Yellowstone area. We had a great group last year, but many wanted to spend more time. One area we wanted to spend more time in was the Grand Tetons. So we are planning on a couple days there.

Plans are still tentative, but they will be posted on the web site as they become available. You may download a “Landscape Workshop” registration form so that you can reserve your spot in the workshop now! We will need participants signed up by April 15, 2009, so we can make all of our arrangements.

Since both parks are such vast areas, you may want to plan on a day or two extra to work on your own. We will have information about motels up in the spring, so you can make your housing arrangements. You can find many campgrounds, commercial campgrounds and those in the parks—we will include a listing.

Our workshop will begin on Sunday evening (May 24) with dinner together and an orientation meeting. We will plan on a couple early morning shoots and a couple evening shoots as well. We allow plenty of individual time for photographic work.

The strange formations of the Eastern Utah offer the photographer tremendous opportunities for exploring the limits of creativity, which will be explored in this workshop. Join our limited number of participants on this exciting adventure as we venture into the exciting areas of Arches National Park, Canyonlands, and other areas. From the mysterious depths of thousand foot canyons to the snow capped peaks of 12,000 foot mountains, the landscape surrounding this area is a wonderland for photographers. Surrounded by some of the most diverse terrain the world you will be captivated by an exciting vista at every turn.
